SPOON!!!

Mon Jul 16, 2007, 1:24 AM
  • Mood: Pride
  • Listening to: Bleach Theme (Number One)
  • Reading: Fanfics
  • Watching: The Tick
  • Playing: Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal
  • Eating: Pasta
  • Drinking: Crystal Light
I was just browsing through some unwatched channels the other day, around five in the morning, when I stumbled across something big people. VERY big. About seven feet tall big. And blue, very blue indeed. What was it? A show that I loved when I was younger, a cartoon that had made me laugh. Which one?

None other than...The Tick.

Perhaps you may be acquainted with the show on Fox that didn't last very long. Hah, not even in the same ballpark here. This show is just strange and dramatically hilarious. Tick's metaphors about evil and justice, not to mention getting a unsightly dog names Speak in later episodes. And his pudgy Moth sidekick Arthur (who everyone mistakes for a white bunny). It's just plain funny.

Comical indeed, and rather clever. I just bought the 1st season on DVD, and intend to buy the rest when they come out. It's funny, you don't realize exactly how awesome something truly is until you haven't seen it in awhile. I recommend that you check it out. And always remember the Tick's battle cry..."SPOON!!!"

And Arthur's as well..."NOT IN THE FACE!!! NOT IN THE FACE!!!"

Hello there!
Did you know Gary Gygax pased away?

Since you are a DM, at least I think you are since I notice your name on the DnD Dukes page, why don't we get rid of 1d20 as a symbolism, as least between Dungeon Masters.

What say you? Would you spread the word?

:icontarrasque:
Certainly, fellow gamer. And no, I was not aware of that...That sucks, the guy was a genius. (Sigh) But even our greatest minds leave us sooner or later...Or do they? Wait a minute, what about the Resurrection spell? Of course, he may come back as a dog or plankton or something. That'd be bad...

And yes, I am a DM, though I haven't played deeply in far too long. No one around here wants to play anymore, so I'm having to be content with crafting my own D&D worlds, and constructing my own variations of rules, just for fun. It's been so long, I haven't even checked out the 4th Edition yet. God damn, I suck!

And yes, I'll spread the word, don't worry about that. Tally-ho and onward I say!

P.S. - Sorry it took almost two weeks for me to respond, I don't come here as often as I should, posting new stuff and such, so I just saw it like... two minutes ago. Just didn't want you to think I was ignoring you, as that is rude, and I hate being rude.

It's okay I understand
And yes, is very hard to find players.

Now the only person who can resurrect Gary at this point is Chuck Norris, but you didn't heard that from me.

Well, since you asked nicely...I'll only have a nibble.

You're the Tarrasque! OMG, I had no idea you had a DA account? Shouldn't you be sleeping right now? Please don't swallow me whole!! *cries at the Tarrasque's Collosal scaryness*

Hah. You'd think I'd be sleeping. However, there is far too much to do. Like devouring everything in my path in one of my famous rampages. I'm on one of my longer hunting forays. It will last a week or two. It's been ages since I've been up and about and boy...am I hungry. Heh heh.

Nice to know someone who actually knows who I am. Everyone else is like, "The Tarrasque? What's that?"

They don't know how great I really am, and how monsterous I can be. Oh well, guess I'll eat them. If you know of me, then you must be versed in the ancient AD&D lore. A gamer huh? Now your talking my language.

Can't remember the last time I played a worthy campaign. Too long, I really need to get out and strech my legs. Perhaps soon...

And before you say it, yes I know the common misconception that the Tarrasque cannot speak, but just between you and me...it ain't true.

You don't just talk, you type too! Man, I've never seen a Collossal-sized keyboard before! XD

Yeah, I've been a happy DM for about five years now, and I know a good majority of the game like the back of my hand. It's kinda like, what most of my life is consumed by.

Grab up some dice, you Player Character-eater. It makes me sad to know you've been on such a long D&D hiatus.

I actually use version 3.5 D&D. The Tarrasque is still around, my friend. You have not been forgotten! And you are still feared by every player in the world!
