Wow, 600 page views huh? Pretty cool...Now, lets compare my accomplishment with those that are celebrating their one thousandth, or ten thousandth, or one hundred thousandth view...Heh.
But I suppose every little bit helps, pushing me towards greatness. Anywho, I've been rather distracted lately, what with watching the many trailers for Starcraft 2. I'm willing to wager that the whole world has been made aware of this coming attraction, and I am sooooooo very anxious right now. After witnessing the gameplay, I've gotten all nostalgic and began playing the original Starcraft and the Brood War. Classic. I would play online, but my computer still ain't agreeing with me. Meaning, I'll have to get a new one before Starcraft 2 comes out. I think I got a little time...
Other than that, I've got nothing to yammer about. I've been somewhat distracted from my writings, the majority of my efforts having been redirected towards the creation of my ultimate D&D campaign world. And let me be the first to say that creating an entire world from scratch ain't a picnic. A guy's brain must be working at peak efficiency to make up countries, land features, gods, customs, legends, titans, cities, taverns, NPC's, monsters, PC classes, among another million or so things. More than likely I'm making things way too complicated for my own good. Most DM's don't create worlds this in depth, I'd wager, but as I've said before, just because something is elaborate, doesn't make it good. Things can be simple but yet eloquent. The beauty of the world one might say.
Alright, I've got to split. My mother is in yet another of her drunken moods, when she sits in front of a computer, playing music videos and songs from days long past. Naturally, I can do nothing to stop this maddening behavior, except refuse to take part in it. And trust me, that is harder than it sounds...
